Originally from Dallas, Texas I moved to the Naples area in 1987 shortly after receiving my BA degree in History and Political Science studies from Southern Methodist University. 

I started my real estate career in September 1987 working onsite sales in development owned properties before obtaining my Florida Broker's Real Estate License and starting my own real estate company in 1995, Southern Realty of Florida. 





 Complimenting my husband's custom home building company I specialized in new construction and vacant lot/acreage sales.

I am an active member at our local Board, NABOR (Naples Area Board of REALTORS®) participating a various committees such as the Professional Standards, Governmental Issues, Global Business, 2011 Chair of the REALTOR® Politcal Action Commitee (RPAC) and 2012 Director on the Board of Directors.  I am a proud graduate of NABOR's Class of 2009 Leadership Development Program.




 I am an Approved HUD Selling Broker which allows me to submit bids on behalf of buyers interested in purchasing Government owned Foreclosures.  Additionally I have received certifications from the Distresssed Property Institute as a CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) and the National Association of REALTORS® as a SFR (Short Sale & Foreclosure Resource) specializing in listing, negotiating, and marketing of  Short Sales.   




I am also actively involved as a member of the Womens Council of REALTORS®, Naples on the Gulf Chapter (WCR) and I am a 2011 Officer, VP of Membership and 2012 Treasurer. 

I am also a recepient of the 2009 & 2010 Top Producer award for sales of

$2,000,000-$4,000,000.

 


I enjoy volunteering in various community service orgainzations and currently serve on the Advisory Board of The Salvation Army and was Chair of the 2010 Red Kettle Campaign Kick-Off Dinner & Auction.
